Financial Controller – Sales

Salary: £54,000 – £78,000 per year

Excellent opportunity to take full responsibility for the UK & Ireland sales revenue of this established successful manufacturing business. Leading a small team, the remit is to support the business with Financial and Commercial performance analysis and advice, including the production of accurate and complete reports, to support effective management decision making and improved financial performance.

With key stakeholders including the General Manager, Sales Director, and Director of Finance, you will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with in-depth technical accounting experience gained within a global environment ideally FMCG, Food manufacturing, Chemical, Automotive, Pharma.

You will have strong leadership and influencing skills and the ability to work autonomously.

Core Duties include:

• Sales Budget Control: Draft and discuss budgets for supported sales entities, monitor budget performance and analyse deviations.
• Financial Analysis: Perform various (sales related) financial analyses as a basis for advice or reporting, including forecasts, scenario planning, customer and product profitability, commission, discounts, and business cases.
• Financial Advice: Advise various stakeholders within the business on financial topics concerning sales, as a basis for founded decision-making.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure the compliance and completeness of sales administration develop (periodical) reports, analyse trends, and include conclusions as a basis for decision-making of management and integral reporting of Head of Reporting.
• Financial Reporting Major Government Contract: Ensure the compliant and complete administration of contract (incl. intermediary sales), develop (periodical) reports, analyse trends, and include conclusions as a basis for Management decision-making.

The Requirement:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, ACMA with a minimum of five years’ relevant experience
• SAP knowledge and experience
