Sheridan Maine is partnering an esteemed and award-winning media organisation, with their search for a Financial Controller who will join their team in Germany. This is a rare opportunity for a finance professional to take a leadership role, driving monthly reporting to the Group while actively spearheading process and control improvements.

As the Financial Controller, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • P&L Analysis and month end reporting.
  • Responsible for the balance sheet, including analysis and resolutions.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, providing valuable insights to senior management and contributing to the achievement of organisational goals.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and internal controls, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cashflow management and FX management.
  • Responsible for relevant tax submissions.
  • Managing intercompany recharges including preparing recharges forecast and instructing necessary accruals.
  • Support FD in reviewing and approving monthly payroll reports, including preparing monthly payroll forecast.
  • Review billing and overall output of the team.

To be considered for the role of Financial Controller, you will require:

  • Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advertising/media experience (desirable).
