Financial Accountant
Gloucester with 3 days WFH
£40,000 – £45,000
A growing and ambitious Gloucester SME are looking to recruit a qualified or nearly qualified Financial Accountant. Our client has had a track record of growing acquisitively in recent years and now is an exciting time to join them. We are looking for someone who enjoys autonomy and the idea of being able to contribute ideas for process improvements, all within a fast-paced business.
Key responsibilities will include the likes of financial reporting, the preparation of the statutory financial statements and Board reporting. You’ll also get involved in external reporting, VAT and Corporation Tax and a host of other things such as payroll, reconciliations and controls and MI analysis.
The ideal candidate will be qualified or well on the way to qualifying. You could either be working in a similar role in industry or have a practice and/or audit background and be looking for that first move. Your Excel skills will be good and you’ll have a real interest in looking for ways to simplify or improve some of their processes.
