Finance Officer

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Finance Officer to work within a council setting in Bradford.

The successful candidate will contribute towards the provision of a compliant, legal, flexible and efficient finance and administrative service to all operational teams within the Fleet and Transport Service in the council.

You will provide a wide range of operational support functions to supervisors and line managers to include providing timely and accurate management information, statistics and reports to help operational management manage costs in accordance with the overall budget, month and year end procedures, KPI’s and operational business and Value for Money plans.

You will also be expected to provide payroll administration support, liaise with operational management and staff across the depot and provide reception duties for departments HR, training and finance departments. You will be ensuring the Council’s Standing Orders, Financial Regulations and Guide to Procedures are adhered to by co-ordinating audits by leading the audit team and supporting the operational Support and Finance manager to ensure Key controls are met across site.
