An opportunity is now available for a Finance Manager to join them to act as the accounting services lead providing a customer focused, efficient financial reporting and budget management operational finance function.

Responsible for the management of the accounting and budget management reporting, statutory accounts and tax compliance, you must support the team members to partner operations within the Group to enhance financial understanding, reporting and control and plan and coordinate the annual budget setting process enabling budget holders engagement in the process to deliver a robust Group budget.

Developing the finance system to support the operations of the business, maximise financial control and efficiency by ensuring systems and processes deliver co-ordinated financial management information to the business as a whole, you must plan and maintain an effective financial service for the Group and ensure that all Group arrangements are appropriately planned, managed and controlled.

You must also lead the delivery of financial reporting and forecasting out-turns, ensuring that format and delivery of the reporting meets customer requirements and enables budget holders understanding of their budgets whilst delivering the audited financial statements; liaising with external auditors to ensure accurate and efficient production of the financial statements in compliance with Accounting Standards.

A qualified accountant (preferably ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA) with proven colleague management skills and the ability to motivate a team, you should have experience of financial applications development and statutory accounting and reporting in a complex group structure, management reporting, transactional volume management, VAT and tax and relevant Information returns. With a substantial background in all aspects of financial management and reporting, you must have effective project management skills coupled with expert financial knowledge and the motivation to shape and deliver the finance function within the Group.
