Finance Manager

Salary: £36,000 – £45,600 per year

This growing multi-site organisation are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. You will be joining an expanding organisation that has experienced significant growth over the past few years and has the opportunity to develop further. This role will be fully office based however will offer some remote working post completion of probation.

Finance Manager – About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Managing Director and will be solely responsible for the daily running of the finance function. This role is offered on a full-time basis or 30 hours a week for the right candidate. Furthermore, you will be required to liaise with multiple sites as well as occasionally travelling to attend meetings with senior management. This is a fantastic end to end Finance position that offers great career potential and will suit someone with an SME background. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Preparation of timely monthly and quarterly management accounts with commentary for Directors.
• Cashflow forecasting and assisting with the annual budget.
• Preparation of weekly and monthly payroll figures to submit to external payroll bureau.
• Preparation of final year end accounts and liaising with the external Accountant.
• Managing the purchase & sales ledger functions and processing all invoices in a timely manner.
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Credit card reconciliations and expense payments.
• Petty cash control and reconciliation.

The successful Finance Manager will have

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Experience in a sole charge role would be desirable
• Working knowledge of Xero would be advantageous
• SME background
• Good communication skills
