Salary: £26,000 per year
Anderson Knight is working closely with a large PLC based in the Reading area to recruit a Finance Manager on a 12-month FTC basis. There is a chance the role could be made permanent. The role is available due to an internal secondment. Our client would consider applicants up to a 30 day notice period.
Managing a team of around 6 accountants, you will work closely with various stakeholders across the business in order to meet month-end deadlines. To be considered it is imperative that you have previous direct management experience. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely financial reporting. You will deal with key stakeholders including the Finance Business Partners, Business contacts, Group Finance, Tax and external auditors.
The main responsibilities the Finance Manager position entails are:
* Managing a team of 6 Accountants and Analysts
* Deliver month end close accurately and on time
* Develop and maintain a robust financial control environment
* Install excellent balance sheet control and understand risk and opportunity held.
* Deliver the external audit and financial statements on time
To be considered for the Finance Manager position you must possess the following:
* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA)
* Strong communication skills
