Finance Director

Salary: £66,000 – £78,000 per year

We are recruiting exclusively for an experienced Director of Finance for a recognised Leicestershire Charity. You will be reporting to the Board and be responsible for steering the finance function. Our client is also happy to consider candidates who are looking to step into their first FD role. Flexible working hours are available.

To apply for this role you will ideally need to be fully qualified in either ACCA/ACA/CIMA. However good Part qualified or QBE candidates who have charity experience will be considered.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor the financial performance of the charity
• Report financial data to the Board
• Manage the investment portfolio
• Prepare and monitor charity budget
• Period Management Accounts – prepared within Reporting Timetables.
• Day to day staff supervision.
• Preparation of the forecasts, monthly cashflow forecasts
• Completion of statutory returns
• VAT Returns,
• Completion of yearend statutory accounts and schedules.
• Support all cost reduction activities including project analysis
• Preparation of annual budgets.
• Assist in the development of the systems for the charity.

Candidate requirements:

• Current or previous Charity experience.
