Finance Business Partner – Operations
Sutton in Ashfield (Office based)
£25,000 – £32,000
Overview:
Our client is a successful and profitable group of companies. They are looking for an Operations Finance Business Partner to join their Sutton in Ashfield team.
The Operations Finance Business Partner will work to deliver financial expertise to operational managers to enable them to make informed business decisions and drive profitability.

Key Duties:
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders to understand financial and operational performance
- Participate in regular briefing meetings
- Regular liaison with stakeholders
- Develop a user-friendly management information pack
- Ensure stakeholders are fully aware of corporate financial controls
- Coaching colleagues
- Ensure project costs are controlled
- Identify and report financial risks and opportunities as they emerge
- Perform trend analysis
- Investigate and explain variances
- Undertake month-end and year-end accounting processes
- Variance analysis and commentaries
- Assisting with the corporate planning processes
- Supporting the continuous improvement of management information, systems and processes within the business.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Part qualified ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) or AAT Qualified
- Experience in management accounting and month end processes
- Analytical mindset, with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent Excel skills
- Ability to work flexibly and under pressure
- Confident in communicating financial information and controls to non-finance colleagues
- Able to build and maintain cross-functional relationships, developing trust and credibility across the business.
