Finance Assistant

Salary: £27,600 – £31,200 per year

This well-established growing organisation are looking for a finance assistant to join their team. This role will be offered on either a full or part time basis and will be mainly office based.

Finance Assistant – About The Role

In this role you will be assisting the finance manager with the day to day running of the finance department. Furthermore you will be required to liaise with other offices and cover for the finance manager when they are on annual leave. Your key responsibilities will be:

* Raising sales invoices and credit notes to post onto the sales ledger.

* Allocating payments received to client account and preparing payment reports.

* Handling the accounts payable function and entering supplier invoices.

* Assisting with cashflow and other month end duties.

* Preparation of the monthly payroll to be reviewed by the Finance Manager.

* Assisting with any other finance/admin duties.

The successful Finance Assistant will have:

* Previous experience in a similar position.

* AAT part or fully qualified.

* Experience with payroll is desirable but not essential.
