Field Technician Peterborough

We are looking for a Field Technician on a full-time and permanent basis covering Peterborough and surrounding areas. Servicing and installing specialist wastewater collection systems. Our client who provides the expertise required for developing and supporting technology throughout the world over the past 25 years and has developed a high level of specialist expertise is looking for a Field Technician to join their team, covering the Peterborough area. Benefits: Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum DOEHours of work: Mon to Thurs 08:30am – 17:00pm, Friday 08:30am – 16:30pm39 hours per week.Company Van and PPE provided.All required tools provided. The role: Servicing and installing specialist wastewater collection systems.Assisting with system commissioning.Installing of pumping station materials and equipment.Installation of existing systems and extensions.Assist with polyethylene chamber welding and fit-out.Support the management team with material equipment assembly.Pipe fitting Skills and experience: Full UK Driving licence.Opportunity to gain your CSCS Card and confined space training.Opportunity to train in electrofusion welding.Some experience within a field service role is desirable. Training will be given in all aspects of the role; however good practical skills are essential. Pipe fitting tasks will take place in the field as well as in a warehouse environment. The role may require moderate to heavy lifting and working in confined spaces.
