A leading supplier of tea and coffee vending machines has a key requirement for a Field Technician specialising in roast and ground coffee equipment. The role is covering Leeds, Bradford, Pontefract, York, Hull and Selby

The Field Technician’s Duties and Responsibilities Include;

· The Field Technician will carry out planned and reactive maintenance for the speciality coffee market, in addition to some vending machines and to a lesser extent on chilled cabinets. You will also be undertaking complex preventative maintenance work and preparing equipment for external assessment for pressurised vessel testing/boiler inspections.

· The Field Technician will carry out installations and customer training on newly installed equipment.

· The Technical Technician will be working on 3 phase equipment

Essential skills

· Thorough electrical knowledge experience of working on 3 phase equipment

· Thorough mechanical knowledge including experience of Hydraulics and ability to read and understand circuit and hydraulic diagrams.

· Basic understanding of refrigeration

· Clean driving licence

· Barista trained to C&G certification level

· Basic food hygiene certificate

· Experience working on commercial coffee machines in environments such as hotels, retail and airports.

· A desire to work to a high standard, self-motivated and flexible.

In return the successful candidate will be offered a permanent position with a salary of between £26,000 – £30,000(depending on experience) and a company vehicle.
