Field Technician

Salary: £14.4 – £21.6 per hour

Field Technician/Site Technician – Exeter
Matchtech are excited to be working alongisde a client on the South West Water framework, and as result we have a live requirement for a temporary Field Technician.
The aim of this business is to build its own dataset that will be used to enable full understanding of vibration exposure for ‘standard’ activities and therefore influence the work planning process. Using a piece of kit to measure and timing activities, you will be on sites around Devon and Cornwall (1 or 2 sites per day). You will be liaising with the planners and site teams to record data. The building of the dataset requires the capture of raw data through measurement on site. Site Activities that are subject to measurement include excavating, backfilling & reinstatement.
Skills/Experience:-
Essential:
* Full clean driving licence
* Geographically based within Devon and Cornwall
* Attention to detail and accuracy when recording data
* Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and good time management skills.
* The ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience with Office 365 applications – e.g. Outlook
Desirable:
* An understanding and experience of working within the Utilities sector
Vehicle and Fuel card to be provided, tpyical hours are pm Monday through Friday and the rate advertised is PAYE.
