Plug Me In, part of the Calisen Group, is in an exciting and strong position where we are seeing growth and development in all areas of the business, as the group expands in its range of activities in line with its mission to deliver Smarter Energy for All. An opportunity has become available for a Field Team Manager to join our Operations Team managing a team of field-based employees comprising of EV and Heat Pump Installers. The role will be remote with ad hoc travel to the Wigan office and to visit operatives.
As a Field Team Manager, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the Director of Field Services in overseeing Plug Me In’s operations. Your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient and viable operation of this region, aligning it with the groups business goals. Your responsibilities also include closely monitoring and enhancing the area’s performance by offering guidance and training to the workforce, with a particular emphasis on improving the quality of work through ongoing training and development initiatives.

What we are looking for in a Field Team Manager…
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience ideally within the utilities industry.
- Previous supervisory roles, and a sound understanding of health and safety.
- Applicants should also be computer literate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a supportive approach to colleagues.
- The ability to work in accordance with procedures, a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Additionally, candidates must possess a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
