Field Based (covering the East Coast of Scotland and North East of England)
£20,000 – £30,000 DOE Plus Overtime, Tools, Liveried Van

With over 20 years’ experience behind them, our client provides their customers with a wide range of tinting and mixing solutions. An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Field Service Technician to join their team and help them to maintain their fantastic reputation.

This is the ideal role for a skilled mechanical engineer with proven experience of working with paint dispensers, mixers and shakers looking to join a continuously expanding company.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for supporting, installing and maintaining our client’s paint tinting and mixing systems at customer sites throughout the East Coast of Scotland and the North East of England.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you’ll prepare, install and maintain paint dispensers, mixers and shakers in a timely and efficient manner. You’ll reactively service and calibrate equipment following any reported errors or faults, whilst taking a hands-on approach to developing your own skill-set and knowledge.

Additionally, you’ll register all work performed, pass on any urgent feedback and ensure that your tools and materials are appropriately maintained.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

– A mechanical engineering background
– Experience of installing and maintaining paint dispensers, mixers and shakers
– Previous experience of technical, mechanical, electrical and software based faults
– A full driving licence
