Job Title: Field Service Engineer (Electro-mechanical)

Salary: £26,000 – £36,600 per year + bonus scheme, minimum of 25 days annual leave + statutory holidays, contributory pension scheme, vehicle available for private use, all tools and equipment provided with an opportunity for progression within the Company.

The Role
Upon joining the company, you will spend time at their Head Office in Peterborough receiving in depth training on appliances and Health & Safety, as well as ongoing support as required when you start on the road. Once the training period is over, you will be responsible for attending calls in customers’ homes, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on the range of appliances you have received training on, aiming for a high first time fix rate every time. Based from home you will have parts delivered conveniently to your address and provided with a company van, which is available for private use.

The Candidate
To be considered for this role you should:
• Have an electro-mechanical background
• Preferably experienced in a Field Service Engineer role – ideally from a white goods, photocopier, fire and security, gas, refrigeration, commercial catering or commercial laundry background, but others will also be considered.
• Hold a valid full UK drivers licence.
• Have excellent customer service skills.
• 17th Edition is not essential but would act as an advantage to your application.
• City & Guilds 236 or any other electrical qualification is not essential but would act as an advantage to your application.
