Field Service Engineer

Kelly Services are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our expanding and forward thinking client on a full-time, permanent position based in the East Midlands. Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm The Role As a Field Service Engineer, your role will vary day to day travelling to different sites to carry out servicing and preventative maintenance work on fuel based and electric equipment to complete diagnosis and subsequent repair work to our client’s equipment. Day to day duties include: Servicing, preventative maintenance and repair of both company owned and customer forklift truck ensuring unscheduled repairs are minimised.Thorough examination inspectionOverhaul of used equipment ready for sale, including painting.Carry out pre-hire and post hire checksAssisting site engineers when required.Completion of documentation to company standardsWork within Health & Safety requirements at all timesBe computer literate Skills & Experience In-depth mechanical and electrical experience including strong diagnosis and repair skillsMechanical apprenticeship or City & Guilds level 2 & 3Experience in a similar role is essentialExperience of hydraulics and electrical equipmentStrong communication skills with the ability to liaise in a clear and concise wayA flexible and helpful attitude to workTo be able to work as part of a team or off of your own initiativeA full driving licenceA competent tool kit Employee Benefits Following successful completion of probation period, you will receive: BUPA Health and Dental CarePension scheme£500 tool allowance per year£60 per year for work bootsPPE / overalls providedFlexible working hoursCompany van for work purpose travel Overtime available If you are looking to further your career with a growing clients who benefits from its strong reputation, then please apply KSEastMidlands Kelly Services are acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this role.
