Field Service Engineer

OVERVIEW:
A leading manufacturing company are currently seeking a field service engineer to join their very large organisation. This is a great time to join the company as they have extensive plans in place for growth over the next 12 months. Due to growth plans, there is a lot of scope to progress and there is an on going promotion structure internally. This company focus heavily on the training and development of their engineers.

THE ROLE OF A FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER:
As a field service engineer, you will be mechanically bias and able to carry out service and fault find repairs on the machinery at the client’s site. It is predominantly a UK role where you cold be sent anywhere at any time. When you are established within the company this may also lead to travelling internationally.
Break down duties;
– Carrying out planned maintenance
– Attending breakdowns
– Fault finding
– Repairs

KEY SKILLS:
The successful field service engineer will be mechanically bias, experience within field service would be desirable but not essential, you will also have electrical skills and be able to work under pressure.

They are currently turning over in excess of 6 billion and have presence in multiple countries worldwide. At the moment they have an employee headcount of 100 engineers, and are looking to increase to this over the next few years in order to hit their long terms plans and goals. The products are used predominately in the food, pharmaceutical, beverage and chemical industry and are found within most state of the art facilities.

SALARY: £33,600with overtime potential earnings of up to £38,000
