Field Performance Manager (Water)

Salary: £54,000 per year

The Field Performance Manager is responsible for the safe and compliant operation and maintenance of all assets within the Kent (Medway) area for the Waste/water Treatment function and pumping stations. They are accountable for the efficiency, productivity, standards and quality to ensure compliance, serviceability and effectiveness in order to protect the environment. The Field Performance Manager will be responsible for approximately 7 direct reports, so this is a great opportunity for a great people manager to step up, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal, and leadership qualities.

The primary purpose of the role is to build, lead and direct a competent and effective team that will deliver permit compliance and high levels of service through this area of the business. You will be in charge of resources, accountable for budget and responsible for a number of sites within your operational area. You will be expected to act as a competent member of the area Field Event Co-ordinator rota leading the team during reactive incidents in and out of core hours, gathering information, and completing a plan to recover service safely and at pace.

Qualifications

Prior management/supervisory experience is essential
The ideal candidate would be ambitious and looking to step up and lead a team
Previous experience in water or utilities industries would be desirable
Knowledge of water supply/process, treatment processes and water regulations is desirable
The role covers sites across the Medway area in Kent so the candidate must be fully mobile and own a clean driving licenseBenefits
