Field Biomass Engineer

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

Just Tech Recruitment are keen to speak to Biomass Engineers based in or near Swindon on behalf of a national biomass boiler servicing and maintenance company.

The business; a biomass boiler service and maintenance company, provide specialist services including repairs, breakdowns, servicing and remote monitoring.

They cover a wide range of boiler makes including, but not limited to:

• Binder
• Hargasaner
• Froling
• Mawera
• Herz
• Viessmann

You will have the support of a business with field engineers, who have expert knowledge on biomass boilers, completing service and maintenance projects across England, Wales and Scotland

The ideal candidates will have good experience working with biomass boilers and of engineering within the renewables industry.

Knowledge of the Commercial Plumbing and Heating industry would offer a distinct advantage, but regular product-specific training to our field-service team will be provided.

DUTIES

• Provision of proactive maintenance services for biomass boilers
• Reactive call outs to time critical breakdowns, including out of hours Biomass, Mechanical and Electrical faults
• Servicing of boilers and submission of reports and data records
• Work effectively alongside existing site and office-based engineers
• Monitoring boiler efficiency and emissions ensuring good boiler performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven track record in the biomass industry
• Comfortable working on commercial, industrial, and agricultural heat and power systems
• Excellent approach to customer service, including clear communication and proactive assistance
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Heating/Mechanical/Electrical qualification

OPTIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Valid Hetas and / or gas engineer certificates
• Experience in gas and large-scale plumbing beneficial

PACKAGE

• This role will pay between £42,000 – £48,000, depending on experience
