As a Relief Support Worker flexibility is key as you may be required to work a variety of different shifts. You should have the ability to work flexibly across weekdays, weekends and bank holidays and shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep ins. Your flexibility is therefore essential for us to be able to meet the needs of the people we support.
In Portishead we support three ladies at our supported living service. You will be supporting them to live independently and supporting them to access and participate in their local community, whilst providing excellent care by being attentive, reliable and supporting them to live the lives they want to live.

All three ladies are social butterflies who love to be out and about joining in lots of activities and regular day trips out. They all lead a busy lifestyle with work and volunteering commitments that they attend during the week. Everyday is different, which is what is great about being a Relief Support Worker at our service in Portishead.
This role could be for you if you;

• Have a caring and patient nature
• Have excellent communication and listening skills
• Great problem-solving skills

• Enjoy doing fun filled activities

Experience isn’t essential for this position as we will provide full training. Drivers are preferred however not essential.
