Our client is looking for a Feedstock Operator for its Waste to Energy Plant which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per annum.

As a Feedstock Operator you will ensure the Plant operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner working in such a way that the company profile is kept to the highest standards. Duties include providing feedstock to the Waste to Energy Plant and all other associated tasks. Your responsibilities in the role of Feedstock Operator will include:

– Ensuring the feedstock supply is maintained according to the requirements dictated by the Plant Operator.

– Ensuring the data of all feedstock is noted accordingly by use of Weighing Machine.
– Completing start up inspections on the Forklift on the commencement of every shift.
– Monitoring fuel usage and reporting to the Plant Operator when resources are running low.
– Maintaining a good standard of housekeeping on the Plant at all times, covering all areas, ensuring a hazard free environment at all times.
– When not operating the forklift, the successful applicant will be required to assist with general duties as dictated by the Plant Operator.

The role of Feedstock Operator requires flexibility as the position will be shift based. The candidate is required to have a forklift licence and previous experience is preferred.

For the role of Feedstock Operator training will be provided

The position of Feedstock Operator is subject to a 3 month probationary period and the successful candidate will receive £26,000 per year.
