Facilities Assistant
Job Description
A well-known law firm based in the city of London is seeking a Facilities Assistant on a 12 month FTC to join their growing and dynamic team.
Paying up to £26,500, this role is a great opportunity for someone who interested in pursuing a career in facilities, but may only have limited office based worked experience.
The Facilities Assistant will join a large team and will be involved in day to day running of a busy office in central London.
The duties will include the following:
- Delivering and sending internal and external post, including franking and FX
- Replenishing stock (stationery, paper, envelopes, etc.) within the office
- Helping with office moves and relocations
- Working closely with the archive, reprographics and reception team
- Setting up workstations for new starters to the firm
- Answering telephone calls and being the first point of contact for the department
- Monitoring the facilities email inbox
- Moving boxes and files from department to department
- Providing back-up support for post scanning
- Other tasks that arise within the facilities department
The ideal candidate will come from an office support background and have a genuine interesting in pursuing a career withing facilities management. Limited experience is welcome, its more about attitude, willingness to learn as well just getting stuck in!
