Specifics: Structural steel experience a must.
Perigon Associates are working with a global recognised name who now require a Fabricator Welder for one of their busy sights in Barnsley.
The Opportunity:
Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit a talented fully qualified Structural Steel Fabricator to join our busy workshop.
We are looking for experienced candidate to be based at our manufacturing workshop. All these positions are full time and permanent.
The Role & Responsibilities:
This role is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful and expanding business. As a Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder, you must be able to read and fully understand engineering drawings and fabricate steelwork with minimal supervision.
The hours of work are: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week (7.15am – 4pm & Friday 6-12pm)
Regular overtime is available, and it is expected a reasonable amount will be done.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Must be fully qualified in Fabrication and Welding, ideally with a Level 3 (or equivalent qualification)
* Experienced with working with large structural steel beams, preferably with at least 5 years’ experience
* Candidates must be able to demonstrate a competent ability to both fabricate and weld steel components to a high standard. Please note a weld test may be part of the interview process.
