Monday to Thursday – 37 hrs per week

We are working with an established client based in Shropshire, who currently have a fantastic opportunity to join their team and oversee the development of the fabrication workshop. This is a vital role in driving the team and the business forward with exciting future projects on the horizon which the right candidate will get to be a part of.

The Fabrication Manager will be responsible for:

* Managing a team of Fabrication Engineers

* Utilising previous experience and strong knowledge of TIG welding

* Training new starters

* Managing new projects; overseeing new product introductions

* Allocating workload to fabrication team, ensuring they are working to production schedule

* Carrying out PDR’s and return to work meetings

Skills and Experience

* Previous experience in a manufacturing / production / fabrication workshop environment such as Workshop Supervisor / Workshop Manager / Fabrication Supervisor / Fabrication Manager

* Must have strong knowledge and experience with TIG welding stainless steel

* Must have strong man-management skills

* Proven experience dealing with projects and delivering objectives
