External Sales UK Wide – German / Hungarian Speaking

A German or Hungarian speaking External/Field Sales Executive (Business Development Manager) is required for an electrical manufacturer based in Essex.

This role can be home based or office based, depending on preference.
The suitable candidate can be living anywhere in the UK, but must be able to do UK wide travel. The main office is in Essex.

Language skills are key for this position and fluency in German or Hungarian is ESSENTIAL.

This vacancy is only suitable for candidate who are currently living in and eligible to work in the UK.

The Role
The UK wide External Sales Executive/Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business across the UK and Europe (by type of company, contact profile, city, etc.) and generating the targets into clients.
The main item would be to market the range of lamps to salons across the UK and Ireland.
There well be field sales/ external sales: client visits along with prospect visits to new companies.
Requires sound technical and commercial knowledge of products sold (full training given).
There will be some travel across Europe to develop business opportunities and meeting clients face to face into Europe i.e. Ireland, Germany etc.
Will require a high level of self motivation and proactive ability in order to generate sales.
Contacting key accounts and already established clients to understand their requirements and see where we can help them most via up selling.
Account management
Generation of your own leads will play a big part of this role
Cold calling/Outbound calls
Setting up your own appointments.
Liaise with other departments of the business.

The Candidate
Fluent in German or Hungarian is ESSENTIAL.
Candidate can be living anywhere in the UK
Previous strong experience in a business development/external sales role is required
Must be flexible and willing and able to travel across the UK and Europe when needed
An in-date valid Passport is ESSENTIAL
A full clean driving licence is ESSENTIAL
Ideally have a car
Sales of an electrical product is strongly desired
