This company are looking to bring in someone who is happy with both account management and developing new business.
You will be responsible for a large area which will have a developed customer base but plenty of opportunity to expand – so you will need to possess both the desire to develop your customer portfolio while at the same time possessing the ability to be a customer’s point of contact.
Along with this you will need to possess a good understanding of a particular area within the steel and metals stock holding industry (the client is quite flexible about what products are looking to be developed and possess a large customer base that covers most areas), a good understanding of the sales process i.e. liaising with customers, quoting, order management etc; the ability to work within a team and as an individual, and have a full UK driving licence.
