Experienced Bookkeeper

Our client, an Interior Design and Construction Group based in Clerkenwell, London are looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper on an on-going temporary basis. To start as soon as possible.

The company is established and holds a strong reputation for both high end commercial and residential projects predominantly in London, inclusive of projects across the UK and Europe wide

Assistance is also required to support a re-structuring of the accounts department.

Hours & Days:
Ideally the client is looking for a candidate that is able to work one full week per month (the second week of every month)

Should you feel you have the necessary experience and can offer 5-6 full days per Month outside of these requirements if suitable we can discuss further.

Hourly Rate based on experience: £18 – £21.6per hour.

Job Description:

*Checking, coding & entering Sales & Creditors Invoices on Sage Line 50
*Coding & entering Retention Invoices on Sage Line 50
*Checking, coding & entering subcontractor / agency wages on Sage Line 50
*Checking, coding & entering staff / management wages onto Sage Line 50
*Checking, coding & entering credit card bills & other expenses onto Sage Line 50
*Prepare statutory VAT return
*Filing after entering the above items
*Raise any queries with our Commercial Director

You will be reporting directly to the Commercial Director.

Functions such as bank reconciliation & preparation of monthly management accounts are carried out by the Commercial Director. – This will require regular discussion & interaction.
