Events Coordinator

Salary: £26,000 per year

Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting a local company in bath in the recruitment of an events manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

As an Event Manager, you will be accountable for the coordination and delivery of all client bookings in your allocated destinations, with an emphasis on providing outstanding customer service.

Key Duties:

• Managing new client bookings from initial enquiry through to completion of event.
• Booking of event venues.
• Liaising with suppliers and gathering cost/quotes for material/venues.
• Altering changing and amendments to events.
• Liaising with customers over the telephone and via email.
• Working closely with the events team to meet targets.

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent Communicator.
• Strong organization skills.
• Interest within the travel industry.
• A team player.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service.

This is a permanent role with a starting salary of £26,000annum and working Monday to Friday with the occasional on-call over the weekend on a rota system which is maybe once every 6-7 weeks.
