Cantello Tayler Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Estimator to join our client based in Bracknell to work closely with the Senior Estimator and Director to generate quotes and assist with managing client expectations and ensure all aspects of the quotation/sales order meet requirements.

The successful Estimator responsibilities include:

• Preparing and submitting quotations for internal doors & ironmongery.
• To review tender drawings with senior estimator, and internal team where applicable.
• To read item/project specifications and interpret them on drawings.
• Liaise with the client with any technical queries.
• To provide administrative support to the team when required.
• Negotiate supplier costs.
• Follow up open enquiries.
• Maintain good relationships with prospective clients and professionals to promote good client relations.
• Full product and system training will be provided.
• Meeting clients at our showroom, where required.
• Previous estimating experience is desired but not essential.

The successful Estimator must be:

• Proactive and can use initiative.
• Logical thinker
• Quick learner, who is attentive to learning and is receptive to new processes.
• Orgainsed, can multitask whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Basic telephone etiquette and clear communication skills.
• PC literate, with basic working knowledge of Excel/Microsoft Office.
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player, but equally able to work independently.
