AJ Chambers are recruiting for a Roofing Estimator for a UK based commercial and residential roofing and building company.

My client is an accredited, award winning company who is based in Harlow.

They have current contracts with prestigious companies such as Kier, Mace and Apollo.

They are looking for a Roofing Estimator with extensive experience working with all roofing types such as felt, asphalt, solar and ideally pitched roofing.

Job Outline

·Prioritising tenders

·Analysing plans

·Assessing cost priorities

·Review material and labour requirements

·Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers

•Prepare take offs and bills of quantities

•Obtaining quotes and building relationships with suppliers and subcontractors

•Prepare and submit quotations

•Prepare material schedules

The ideal Candidate:

·Must have previous experience of estimating within the roofing industry

·Must be capable of quick turnaround tenders

·Ideally you would have worked with pitched roofing but this is not essential.
