Environmental Compliance Advisor – Landfill

Our client, a leading waste operator, is looking to recruit an Environmental Compliance Advisor to provide environmental compliance support and guidance across a number of designated landfill sites in the West Midlands region.

Main duties:

* Ensure all environmental monitoring and reporting is completed and submitted in accordance with site permits and monitoring schedules

* Reporting to the Site Manager, analyse data to report any potential environmental impacts to local receptors and amenities.

* Co-operate and assist in developing the sites relationships with the regulator and other stakeholders.

* Advise and support the site manager about environmental issues and activities.

* Advise and help to deliver plans to manage and control all environmental compliance issues including improving leachate compliance across the sites.

Candidate requirements:

* Preferably educated to degree level but otherwise with a proven track record in an environmental or leachate orientated role.

* Experience in managing environmental monitoring data, including reviewing and report writing.

* Experience of waste industry and/or environmental monitoring

* Proven ability to consistently deliver projects on time.
