Engineering Tutor (Mechanical or Electrical – x2 roles)

£28k – £34k

Location: Derby

My client, a well-established apprenticeship provider, are seeking a knowledgeable engineering tutor to join their experienced team of Engineers.

The client, based in Derby, has been up and running for just over 7 years and works with businesses all over Derbyshire, South Yorkshire, and Manchester in providing quality apprenticeships for 16-18 year olds in a variety of courses (health and social care, construction, nursing) and they have been graded?Good? by Ofsted.

The role itself is teaching Engineering (either mechanical or electrical- they are seeking one of each), up to HND level to apprentices and learners, mainly between 26-18 year olds but on the higher courses adults.
They are looking for an experienced engineering tutor, ideally with experience teaching up to HND level already, (they would consider if the applicant has taught to level 3 and would like to teach higher).

Requirements from the successful applicant:

1. At least a degree in Engineering (either mechanical or electrical)
2. Teaching experience, ideally with a teaching qualification
3. Derby is a commutable distance to travel to on a daily basis

They are looking for someone to start ASAP? however would wait for the right person if necessary due to notice periods etc, the interviews are ASAP.
