Engineering Service Supervisor Kelly Services are looking for an experienced Engineering Service Supervisor to join one of the best-known suppliers of machinery products in the East Midlands and lead a team of 3 Customer Technical AdvisorSalary £37,000 – £39,000 per annum.Full time – Monday to Friday.Company benefits Company pensionEmployee discountFree parkingOn-site parkingSick pay23 days annual leave plus bank holidays. The Role The Engineering Service Supervisor will work with the Technical Customer Service Team, which is led by the Customer Service Supervisor, and is charged with delivering technical and engineering solutions to customers, either based on their own knowledge or in conjunction with our highly skilled Technical and Workshop Teams. This role is 70 % office based and a maximum of 30% on site. Key Responsibilities Visit Repair Agents annually to ensure they are following the company’s core guidelines.Identify and build up a portfolio of new repair agents where there are opportunities to do so based on geographic skill and coverage gaps.Allocating quoted and warranty repairs.To ensure that customers are informed and invited to join our annual service scheme.Ensure that Annual Services are planned and completed.To personally share the responsibility, with others, of attending customer sites to carry out routine service and breakdown repairs.Provide practical engineering and technical support to Distributors & End Users.Assist your team in investigating in-depth customer warranty issues.Guiding the wider team in processing warranty returns.Coach and lead your team to investigate and diagnose machines with problems and attempt to resolve them where possible over the phone and email.Continuous liaison with Service, Customer Service and Technical & Production Departments. Your skills and experience High level of technical and engineering ability in machinery repair skills.Experience of organising the workflow of a team.Commitment to coaching & developing customer management and solution provision across the team.A wealth of experience dealing with customer escalations whether face to face or over the phone.Skill of multi-tasking and time management.Ability to upsell servicing and maintenance packages during repair/service.Understanding of the need to prioritise workload based on level of urgency.
