PETA Ltd are proud to be working with Arc Fire Safety & Security Ltd to recruit an Engineering Administration Apprentice to support with the day-to-day administration within the installation team. If you are a strong communicator who can use initiative and think logically, this is the role for you.

Training to be provided:
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

About the role: 
The Engineering Administration Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Data input, updating of service and installation systems
  • Compilation of project files and O and M packages to clients
  • Review of project drawings
  • Arranging appointments for engineers
  • You will also have opportunities to go to client sites

Essential Skills:
It is essential that the Engineering Administration Apprentice has the following skills and personal qualities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to organise well and prioritise tasks
  • Capable of remaining calm under pressure
  • Customer care skills
  • IT competent, knowledge of Excel would be an advantage
  • GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade C / 4
