Energy Manager – Hybrid / London – to £108,000 plus package
Our client requires an Energy Manager to join their team in the UK. You will be responsible for the EMEA region of this global business.
About the role:
This full-time position will be based in London and is part of the Energy & Sustainability team in International. The role offers a unique opportunity for a capable individual to help support the delivery of Energy and Sustainability objectives across the International Region (EMEA and APAC)
Duties include:
To support procurement, management, measurement and monitoring of energy and other resources across EMEA.
Liaise with community teams to ensure members receive and understand their energy, water and waste data.
Working closely with facilities and operations teams, conduct energy audits (remote and in person) and identify areas of opportunity. Build business cases for investments where appropriate.
Project manage ROI initiatives to reduce energy and resource consumption.
Contact Landlords to obtain energy, waste and water – Building Energy Management System (BEMS) related information and engage them in energy reduction efforts.
Support the Energy & Sustainability Director in deploying energy and resource efficiency programmes and reporting the associated costs savings.
Analyze consumption data, develop insights to inform energy, water and waste efficiency & procurement initiatives.
Produce regular consumption reports including profile analysis, exception reporting and benchmarking across the region, utilising our energy management system.
Attend buildings as required to gather information related to energy, HVAC, BEMS. Working closely and collaborating with the BEMS team is essential.
Support in Invoice management and consumption data requests and working closely with our external energy bureau partner.
Develop and manage programs for accurate & timely energy data collection and support the team in reporting and analytical tasks.
Requirements:
5 plus years experience in energy and resource management with the appropriate qualifications.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing),
Highly analytical, fluency using spreadsheet and databases is a plus
Experience working in fast paced global companies, and working cross functionally
Excellent organisation, communication, writing and presentation skills: experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions
Team player – this is a flat and lean team, we’re looking for a willingness to jump in as needed on projects outside your scope.
Willing/able to travel to both existing and new locations.
