Emergency Lighting Engineer
Main Duties and Responsibilities of an Emergency Lighting Engineer:
As an Emergency Lighting Engineer, you will report to the Supervisor / Contract Manager, and you are the first point of contact between the business and our client. You must have good written and oral communication skills and have a high level of technical knowledge across the electrical industry.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 08.00-17.00 with weekend work and overtime available upon request!
The main duties of an Emergency Lighting Engineer include:
- To carry out company works as required to desired standards
- Fault Finding
- Servicing of communal, emergency, and external lighting
- On site repairs
- Compiling an asset register when on site
- Provide high levels of customer service.
- Promote a good external perception of the company at all times.
- To comply with company procedures to ensure a smooth delivery of our service
- To produce quality reporting on time
- Adhere to the company’s quality management system and recycle correctly and responsibly
Experience & Skills
- UK Driving License (required)
- C&G L2, C&G L3 or equivalent
- AM2 (desirable)
- 18th Addition (desirable)
- Emergency Lighting qualification C&G unit 1 & Unit 2 (desirable)
- Must hold full UK driving licence
