Emergency Lighting Engineer

Main Duties and Responsibilities of an Emergency Lighting Engineer:

As an Emergency Lighting Engineer, you will report to the Supervisor / Contract Manager, and you are the first point of contact between the business and our client. You must have good written and oral communication skills and have a high level of technical knowledge across the electrical industry.

Working hours are Monday-Friday 08.00-17.00 with weekend work and overtime available upon request!

The main duties of an Emergency Lighting Engineer include:

  • To carry out company works as required to desired standards
  • Fault Finding
  • Servicing of communal, emergency, and external lighting
  • On site repairs
  • Compiling an asset register when on site
  • Provide high levels of customer service.
  • Promote a good external perception of the company at all times.
  • To comply with company procedures to ensure a smooth delivery of our service
  • To produce quality reporting on time
  • Adhere to the company’s quality management system and recycle correctly and responsibly

Experience & Skills

  • UK Driving License (required)
  • C&G L2, C&G L3 or equivalent
  • AM2 (desirable)
  • 18th Addition (desirable)
  • Emergency Lighting qualification C&G unit 1 & Unit 2 (desirable)
  • Must hold full UK driving licence
