Our client is a global market leader in their field of engineering. Due to continued expansion, they are now recruiting for an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their team at their site in Halifax. The successful candidate will build and calibrate the company range of instruments and accessories.

SALARY IS COMPETITIVE, MONDAY TO FRIDAY – FLEXIBLE START AND FINISH TIMES WITH A FRIDAY FINISH OF 12.30PM, 25 DAYS HOLIDAY PLUS BANK HOLIDAYS, PENSION SCHEME MATCHED UP TO 4%.

Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician Responsibilities:
– Make sure all jobs are built in accordance with build manuals and all electrical and mechanical parts are assembled to the highest standards.
– Ensure measurement equipment is used and that quality plans are maintained.
– Contribute to and suggest any changes to build manuals via the team leader.
– Ensure software is installed correctly on products.
– Ensure quality plans, non-conformance and change proposals are completed correctly and updated. date.
– Contribute to continuous improvement identifying and implementing activities and escalate to Team Leader.
– Maintain, improve and promote high standards of housekeeping.

Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician Requirements:
– Apprentice trained (or equivalent experience) in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
– Previous experience of working in an Engineering Manufacturing environment
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
– Able to prioritise, organise and work under pressure.
