This is an exceptional opportunity to enhance your career within facilities services working for a leading FTSE250 FM Outsourcing business. An Assistant Electrical Engineer is required to support a lead engineer in Lighting and Electrical maintenance, repair and installation activities

Main responsibilities:
*To support the lead engineer in practical repair and maintenance of Lighting and Electrical installations
*To Load materials and equipment into and out of the vehicle and customer sites as required
*To work at height where required
*To undertake lamp changing following appropriate training
*To set up barriers etc to create a safe working area within customers premises
*To ensure customer premises are left in a100% clean and presentable condition
*To support in the completion of paperwork as required
*To carry out works specified on a daily bases
*To understand and comply with policies and procedures

Experience/ qualifications required:
*Good practical skills and aptitude
*Some basic electrical skills
*Flexible approach and the ability to work flexible hours when required which could include evenings and weekends (overtime payments as appropriate)
*Good general literacy and numeracy skills
*Strong customer care focus
*Be proactive and support the lead engineer to work efficiently
*Full driving licence
*Able to work at heights
