Electrician (Fire Alarms/Emergency Lighting)
Salary: Up to £42,000Base Salary + Overtime (£40K+ OTE) + Annual Leave + Private Healthcare Available + Company Van + Travel Pay + Pension & Benefits.
Location: South East.
Job Type: Full Time, permanent
My client is a leading and reputable Mechanical and Electrical specialist currently looking to recruit an Electrician whose duties will include:
- Carrying out maintenance in commercial premises. This includes Emergency Lighting and Fire Alarm PPMs
- Carrying out reactive service calls.
- Installation of new power supplies, lighting etc.
- Working as a mobile electrician and covering Counties such as Surrey, Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, London and Essex.
Essential Criteria:
- A current and in date ECS card
- City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3
- Experience in Fire Alarm Service and Maintenance
- 17th Edition or updated 18th Qualification
- Conversant on regulations and understand fault status allocation;
- Familiar with NICEIC certification and requirement
Desirable Criteria:
- 2391 or 2394/2395 inspection and testing training;
- To have the ability to work under your own initiative and to make decisions based on the information to hand;
- Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely and efficient manner;
- Good communicator, diligent and self-motivated.
