Electrician

Our client is leading supplier of domestic and commercial electrical services in the Humberside area. They have recently won maintenance contracts to be carried out in schools and colleges over the summer break.

An opportunity has come up for 3 qualified electricians to work on a contract in the Grimsby area. You will need to have previous experience in a similar environment. You will be working “on site” undertaking new installations or refurbishment works.

Specific requirements:-
• Able to work within a multi-function team
• Self-motivated team member with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines
• Have experience working in the building and construction industry

Previous experience:-
• Good working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations.
• The ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Used to working in mains distribution boards.
• Able to install tray work, trunking etc to high standards.

Qualifications:
• You will have served the appropriate apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 (or an equivalent).
• The fully recognised qualification in the current edition of the BS 7671 (IEE Wiring Regs) would be preferable
• The City and Guilds 2392 Inspection and Testing qualification would also be an advantage
