Electrical Technician

Our client is on the UK leading snack food manufactures based in Greater London who are now looking to appoint two electrical biased technicians to join their established maintenance team.

Electrical Technicians

You:

Will have the ability to operate effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team assisting maintenance electricians and mechanical engineers with their work.

Responsible for carrying out semi-skilled, planned and reactive work orders on a range of mechanical and electrical engineering plant and equipment such like heat exchangers, burners and extrusion equipment or experience with Ishida Weighers and / or TNA Packaging Machines

Attributes:

You will be educated to GCSE level C (or equivalent) an accreditation with City & Guilds, BTEC Diploma or NVQ at level 1 in building services ideally electrical engineering. Trained in plc controls (Allen Bradley) or equivalent

The nature of role is varied and highly demanding, coping with a constant pace of work. You must have a positive approach to customer care, the ability to communicate effectively and be able to work flexibly and adapt to changes in priorities.

Previous experience of working in the food / packaging industry

Ideally you will posses either the 16th or 17th Edition

Experience with PLC controls

Ability to work consistently to high standards and prioritise tasks according to the workload and be able to work under pressure in a fast moving environment
Good communication skills with internal and external functions
