Salary: £39,600 – £49,200 per year
Electrical Controls / Systems Engineer / Commissioning Engineer.
Due to expansion a new role is available for an independent automation and control business. This role would suit an Electrical Engineer seeking an opportunity to utilise their PLC knowledge to design and commission control panels. Based in Nottinghamshire with site visits throughout the UK for commissioning work.
The role takes responsibility for designing and commissioning control and automation systems used within a variety of industries including food process, packaging, renewable energy, materials handling industries. You will be required to write PLC (Siemens & Allen Bradley) and SCADA (Intouch & WinCC) software, along with advising/discussing requirements with clients.
The ideal candidate will need:
* Experience of modern automation systems
* A knowledge of pumps, valves and heat exchangers
* To be a qualified electrical engineer
* To have extensive knowledge of PLC/SCADA programming
* Be happy working alone and speaking with existing and prospective clients
