Job Description
We need a time served Jib Electrician to work closely with our managing director to assist in supervising electricians to carry out electrical installations and modifications in a compliant manner.
You will carry out snagging and general quality control for the works installed by our team.
Putting people to work and ensuring they have all of the relevant information and materials to hand.
Initially work will be on a 106 room hotel in Liverpool street.
You will need Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work well within a team
Ability to carry out testing on electrical installations and correctly record the results to produce electrical certification.
Be able to read and understand electrical drawings.
Be able to use Excel, Outlook and certification software
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 10 years working on site as a qualified electrician
A minimum of 3 years working as a supervisor
Level 3 City and Guilds Electrical Technical Certificate
NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations (or approved equivalent)
City and Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
A current valid JIB/ECS/Black card
SSSTS preferred
2391 preferred

You will be working on a 106 room hotel project in liverpool street with more projects starting next year.
Normal working hours are 45 hours per week Monday to Friday but there may be the need to work outside these hours throughout the week and occasionally at weekends.
You will work under CIS paid weekly. 7:45 to 4:45
