I am currently working with a private training company in Cumbria who are looking for an Electrical & Process Instrumentation Technical Delivery Tutor to join their friendly team.

This is a great opportunity for an instrumentation engineer who is looking to get into a technical training position on a full time and permanent basis.

Responsibility of the role will include the following:

– To research, design and deliver technical training to both young people and adults.

– To teach up to level 3 in electrical engineering, with an emphasis on instrumentation.

– To teach other subjects including maths, CAD and project management.

– To carry out research for new qualifications in line with customer demand.

To be eligible for this role you MUST have:

– A HNC in instrumentation or relevant engineering discipline.

– Strong subject knowledge and experience of E&I engineering.

– A desire to pass your skills on and work towards a teaching qualification.

Previous teaching/training experience is not essential as my client will provide full support and on-the-job training and they will also be able to put you through a teaching qualification.

The salary for this role is £40,800 – £42,000per annum.
