To carry out maintenance tasks on the Energy Recovery Facility, fault finding, installation and routine maintenance of all mechanical equipment with some electrical equipment (80/20 bias towards Mechanical).

What you’ll be doing;

  • Perform and document maintenance, calibration, installation, fault diagnosis and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Excellent problem solving and solution resolution, able to demonstrate a working knowledge of problem solving and root cause analysis using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Inspect, repair and maintain all types of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Maintain files, logs and drawings for all mechanical and electrical systems using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • To propose and develop modifications and improvements to plant / apparatus as appropriate
  • Liaise with contractors carrying out mechanical tasks / projects to ensure compliance with company procedures

What we’re looking for;

  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship/ Qualification
  • Detailed knowledge of all aspects of maintenance techniques associated with Mechanical & Electrical systems
  • Understand and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
