Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £49,121 per year

Our client based in Wrexham, a leading manufacturing company, is currently looking for Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Duties to Include:

• Working as part of the maintenance team to carry out all aspects of electrical repair and maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Using current knowledge and skills to develop innovative methods prolong the life of the electronic machinery on site.
• Communicate effectively with own team and colleagues in the manufacturing area to be able to effectively diagnose issues with machinery.
• Preventative maintenance inspections and checks.
• Maintenance on large AC and DC motors.
• Following and championing site health and safety at all times.
• Operating MHE equipment to assist with moving machinery that needs repair.

Successful Candidates will:

• Have significant experience of diagnosing and repairing PLC, Instrumentation and Electronic drives.
• Be able to use software to interface or diagnose faults on plant and machinery.
• Be able to read machine and plant drawings.
• Minimum of BTEC ONC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or proven experience.
• Be happy working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• Take pride in the quality of their work
• Be able to work effectively at speed to ensure a continuous production process is restored as soon as possible

Working Hours:

• 4 on 4 off, 2 day 2 night shift pattern
• Planned shutdown periods throughout the year including Christmas

Pay Rate:

• £49,120.8 per annum – Rising to £42,113 after 3 month probation
• Regular Overtime Available
