Job Description
Our Client, a World leading FMCG Company is currently looking for an Electrical Engineering Technician based in Berkshire! The role is hands-on and you will be working in a shift team of up to 6 technicians. You will be focusing on the investigation and repair of breakdowns and providing technical expertise to operations. This role will mainly involve reactive maintenance.
Electrical Engineering Technician responsibility includes:
• Electrical, mechanical and control engineering (Majority Electrical and Controls)
• Leads all engineering activities and undertakes minor capital projects, setting the strategy for continuous improvement of asset reliability and improving maintenance techniques
• Getting down to the root cause of breakdowns and any other technical issues
• Provide technical leadership to drive OEE above target.
• Helps to drive throughput by removing bottlenecks and maximising the equipment reliability and output.

The Ideal Electrical Engineering Technician will have:
• Experience with Siemens or Rockwell(Allen Bradley) PLC and HMI programming experience
• Experience working on PLC/ Instrumentation/Automation equipment
• Experience carrying out a similar role within one of the following sectors; Manufacturing, FMCG, Material Handling, Recycling/Waste Transfer or Power Station
• Electrical/Controls qualification (is a MUST) – Apprenticeship or HND qualified.
• Is proactive and a team player

Remuneration:
• Salary: £43,200 – £60,000depending on experience
• Additional benefits: Company & personal bonus Pension, life and medical insurance.
• Holiday Entitlement: 25 Days plus bank holidays
