Electrical Design Engineer – City of London

Our client is a well established multi disciplinary built environment consultancy with four UK offices, providing a fully integrated & management service including architecture, building surveying, planning, building services engineering and interior design. They manage large-scale new-build and refurbishment projects and can add value at every stage of development, from initial concept planning through to the design and fit-out of interior spaces. Sustainability is a central theme and they deliver innovative and practical energy-saving designs and manage them through to completion.

Due to a strategic growth plan and healthy workload, our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to progress to a senior role, produce Electrical Building Services Design for Schools, Hospitals & Commercial projects. Ideally we are looking for an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years design experience and familiarity with packages such as Amtech, Dialux, IES.

This is a key position and our Client wants a career minded engineer with the opportunity to progress to Associate in the future and take full project responsibility. Other duties include acting as client interface, attending meetings & site, liaising with the directors on all project matters

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work in a multi-disciplinary environment with additional mentoring from the Directors Team. The company has a structured plan to obtain chartered status with CIBSE and IET, and training and development is at the heart of their business model.

The role is based within walking distance of Liverpool Street and Aldgate Stations. Base Salary of 40k – 45k plus company benefits.
