Electrical Contract Manager

Parkinson Gray Associates have been engaged by our Client, arguably the most prestigious independently owned building services contractor in Yorkshire, to assist them with their recruitment of a highly experienced Electrical Contract Manager.

As Electrical Contract Manager you will take projects from the point of order all the way through to completion. You will be profit and loss responsible, Client facing and with the technical skills to make a design a reality on site – on time, on budget and to demanding quality standards. Whilst you will have the full backup of our Clients commercial department and back-office function, projects will be yours to deliver. Projects will range from £1M to £10M, and it is anticipated that you will have at least two projects running at any one time. These large-scale projects will be varied in nature and up and down the Country. This is an office-based role with frequent visits to site, however, on occasions, there may be the need for you to spend a night or two away from home.

For this role, our Client is seeking the best mechanical (building services – HVAC) talent the Yorkshire region has to offer. They require a Candidate who has a proven track record of project delivery at this level – £ multi-million projects. This means that we anticipate speaking with Candidates from either a large national MEP Contractor or one of the larger independents. In addition to the relevant project experience, we are looking for a candidate with the right attitude for this role. Whilst it may sound cliche, we are looking for someone with a positive “can-do” attitude. There is no easy Project Management role with building services contracting and this role is no exception. The position will be demanding but rewarding. We are looking for someone who is willing to do what is required in order to keep this contractor at the top of their game and a leader within their sector.
